After months of planning, the stage is set for the highly anticipated #LTB2015.
It’s bright and early here at the Rockleigh, but a steady flow of guests is streaming in. Guests might not have had their early a.m. coffees yet, but the energy is electric.
It’s a privilege to be blogging to you LIVE throughout the day.
Today the Ptex Group can finally exhale.
After months of planning, pushing and perfecting, #LTB2014 materialized from vision to reality, goal to “mission accomplished.”
Some of you drove from nearby to the picturesque Rockleigh in New Jersey…other’s flew in from afar.
But the important thing is that you showed up. You put business as usual on hold for the day because you’re driven to succeed. To push. To grow. To expand your network. And to make 2014 a bigger, better and bolder business year.
****Welcome to the #LTB2014 live blog! I’ll be blogging live all day — posting pictures & sharing all the insider scoop — so tune in regularly! If you’re at the event, I’ll be your eyes and ears, just in case you miss something memorable while you’re grabbing a delicious snack from the all-day buffet or attending a brilliant breakaway session. And if you couldn’t make it out this year, I’m sure my live reports will keep you entertained … albeit wishing you were here too.
Be sure to follow us on Twitter (@LTBsummit) , Facebook (LTB Business Summit) and Instagram (LTBsummit) to join in the conversation!!! Go on and use the #LTB2014. Get creative – I dare you!
Ready? Set? Let’s talk business.
You’ve been toying with the idea of registering for #LTB2014, but you’ve found one reason or another to put it off.
Well, it’s game time! Tomorrow is the big day. Our office is abuzz with excitement as we put the finishing touches on a business summit designed to impress in every way, from the luxurious venue (The Rockleigh in NJ) to the gourmet buffet open all day (business-people are nearly always hungry people).
One of the biggest draws, of course, is the “talent.”
We’ve talked about our inspirational, innovative speakers like Rob “Waldo” Waldman, Dave Crenshaw, Gerry O’Brien, Hal Becker and more who will be joining us LIVE tomorrow. We don’t fly in just anyone — only the best of the best will be at #LTB2014.
But we haven’t mentioned a few speakers, and trust me, you don’t want to miss out on what they have to say..
It’s game time. #LTB2014 is quite literally just around the corner.
In addition to producing second-to-none work for our clients, the Ptex Group team is in overdrive doing everything in our power to make LTB 2014 bigger, better and bolder than last year.
And yet, I managed to do the impossible.
Somehow – amidst the craziness that is planning a 600-person premiere Jewish business summit – I was able to sit down with the captain of the ship and CEO of the Ptex Group, Meny Hoffman.
Why did he make the time?
Still haven’t signed up for #LTB2014? Then you’ve probably got one of these excuses:
“I’d love to go, but I’m so busy I can barely see straight….”
“I need to get my sales up this month, I can’t justify taking a day off…”
“I’m not much into motivational speakers…”
Does this sound like you?
We don’t blame you. Crazy busy? We can definitely empathize! Haven’t yet hit your sales quota for the month? We hear you.
But here’s the thing: Our speakers aren’t fluffy.
If you don’t know him personally, you’re missing out.
Charlie Harary’s an attorney, professor, business founder and owner, investment adviser, renowned lecturer, and community leader.
But what do we love most about Charlie? He’s a real class act.
That’s why we’re excited to have him back at #LTB2014 as the official Emcee. He did a stellar job last year. Implementing the business strategy, “If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it,” we asked him back.
And despite his jam-packed schedule, he said YES!
If you can leave the office without feeling like the ship will sink or burn down without you, then your company’s in pretty good shape.
No matter how innovative you are or how many hours you clock, you can’t build a thriving business on your own.
Businesses are founded by individuals, but built by teams.
Ironically, when you have a team you can count on to get the job done, that’s precisely when you need to watch out. Your best employees might be on the lookout for bigger and better opportunities.
