Meet Joseph (Yossi) Hoffman. Founder and CEO of Forwardslash, a Ptex sister company and experts in all things web, Yossi is a one-of-a-kind leader and digital maven. Known for constantly pushing his team to explore, innovate, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in the digital sphere, Yossi has a deep understanding of what makes both people and businesses tick. He’s often seen feeding his large collection of tropical fish or strumming on his guitar—and rarely seen without a smile on his face. I interviewed Yossi about what drives him, how he overcomes challenges, and the secret sauce to the success of Forwardslash.
People of Ptex
Meet Chana, Senior Graphic Designer at Ptex Group.
Equal parts passionate artist and smart strategist, Chana likes to get her hands dirty with design. Previously, she has designed packaging for well-known electronic consumer brands like Polaroid, Sharper Image, and Limited Too. While she only joined the Ptex team about 8 months ago, Chana is already bringing her broad talent, unique expertise, and proclivity for creative adventure to the Ptex team. Shake up her talents, pour ’em out into Adobe Illustrator, and you end up with the perfect cocktail of beautiful, cost-effective, and solution-oriented designs that help businesses grow. (Did I mention they’re beautiful?)
I had so much fun interviewing Chana about her unique path to design, her love for creating awesome packaging, and what she’s learned about the industry and herself throughout her career. Here it is… Enjoy!
Shlomo is a Senior Copywriter at Ptex Group, but his humble title belies his crucial role in many of Ptex’s large-scale branding projects. Many of those projects, in fact, begin at Shlomo’s desk—where he conducts exhaustive research to understand the business, unearth what makes it unique, and discern where it falls in the larger marketplace.
For this edition of People of Ptex, I sat down with branding and marketing maven Elke Taussig, also known around the office as The Brand Whisperer. Elke is one of the longest time members of the Ptex Group family—she’s been around since the early days, when Ptex was still Printex, and has seen the organization grow into what it’s become today. A deep thinker and creative wordsmith, Elke knows how to get to the essential core of, well, pretty much anything. In this interview, Elke and I discuss the meaning of branding, what she loves most about her job at Ptex, and what it’s like to be a religious Jewish woman in the business world.
For this edition of People of Ptex, I sat down with lifecycle marketing maven Nathan Weill to talk about the journey that led him to discover the power of automation, what he loves most about his work at Ptex, and the creative hobbies that keep him busy when he’s not at work.
