As it grew from humble beginnings, Pointy’s focus had changed; it was no longer just about points. Pointy came to us for help attracting new clients, without alienating old ones. They wanted to maintain the reputation they had built for affordable travel while gaining the trust of corporate travelers looking for high-end personal service coupled with affordable deals on first and business class travel.
The creative solution
With a look and feel that is personal and approachable while at the same time evoking exclusivity and luxury, we repositioned Pointy as an exclusive travel “concierge” service. Their updated language and iconography set a personal, trusting tone while striking imagery of travel destinations elevated the banal notion of business travel. We created an invite-only VIP referral points program to create an aura of exclusivity and generate a buzz.
