YD Wood Floors approached Ptex to help them clarify their brand message and create a fresh, contemporary, and strong identity that would accentuate everything they are about and set them apart from competitors. We were excited to tackle the challenge in this growing and luxury-focused industry.
Together with the creators of YD Wood Floors, we came up with a strong brand identity that incorporated their unshakable commitment to excellence in everything they do. Their brand slogan and tagline say it all: “Be floored by excellence”, and “Imagine the impossible. Be floored by the results”.
Our design strategy was to create a versatile brand with core elements that can apply and be enhanced in a variety of settings. From a sleek new logo to company uniforms, to van wrap and billboard design, YD’s new look and concept are sure to strike their target audience’s attention and differentiate them from the competition.
We stayed true to the original brand colors, as the vibrancy and color association is suitable for the flooring industry but introduced a more contemporary interpretation. The wood-like pattern helps accentuate the brand offering.
