Born out of a firm belief that luxury doesn’t need to be unattainable or unapproachable, MKF offers everything shoppers expect from a name brand – quality, functionality, and style, at a price point that is anything but expected.

They approached Ptex seeking a versatile visual and strategic brand platform for their expanding collection of fashionable handbags and accessories - a brand that would feel premium, but still firmly within reach.

Without a designer label to fall back on (and a target audience who weren’t even looking for one), we needed to reset expectations of what fashionable accessories looked and felt like, transforming the mutually exclusive into the mutually inclusive.

Melding style and function, incredible value and inherent attainability, MKF stood for one idea that allowed the brand tagline to nearly write itself.

A brand where each purchase brings you everything you want from a handbag- and more. No settling, stressing, and second-guessing - just knockout styles at a superb price.

the process

Visually, we wanted the brand to be easy on the eye - reminding consumers that it was easy on the wallet too.

We used a muted monochromatic color palette as the base for the brand patterns, with pops of seasonal color artfully interspersed throughout.

Bold minimalist fonts and custom-crafted iconography helped the collection’s features and styles stand out to shoppers and fashion seekers.

Incorporating the brand elements, we created a sleek brand charm that would adorn each piece in the collection, with additional charms created for sports and vintage collections.

The brand’s visuals were artfully incorporated into the shipping packaging- from the crisp, patterned tissue paper to the sharp brand tape, creating an unforgettable unboxing experience that tied everything together.

MKF debuted onto the fashion scene in early 2021 to the delight of savvy shoppers looking for a new statement piece at a great price.

Nearly 4 years later, the brand’s classic appeal and accessible feel have proven to be enduring, attracting fashion lovers everywhere.
