Urbantop’s mission is to help move urban living into its next chapter, creating distinct experiences with efficient, durably-designed roofscapes and exteriors. Using sustainable, eco-friendly materials, we’re transforming ordinary space into extraordinary scapes.

what was their next?

UrbanTop’s parent company, Selective Decks, approached us with plans for pivoting from home landscaping and decks into a highly niche and exciting market. Their goal, which they’ve achieved successfully so far, was to break into the industrial and commercial rooftop landscaping, design, and minor construction spaces.

In order to do this, they needed exquisite branding that would differentiate them from their competition. They needed a modern and professional look, as well as to accentuate their already powerful message.

the solution

With all creative hands-on ‘deck’ (pun intended), our designers got to work experimenting with various color schemes, fonts, logos, patterns, and other brand elements. The overall design strategy aims to convey UrbanTop, a young brand seeking to tap into a new opportunity, in a contemporary, sophisticated light.

Though the majority of the brand elements maintain a leaner appearance, the brand typeface strikes a bold balance, ensuring the constant visibility of the UrbanTop name.

In terms of brand messaging, our goal was to keep it clear and personable, highlighting the differentiating and beneficial qualities of their service and quality of work.
